Our Story

Our church’s story is a story of God’s faithfulness and blessing. He has been exceedingly good to this group of believers. He brought us together with a vision to see a church planted — anchored in the Word and driven by a passion for the name of God. He has seen fit to allow us to grow and develop over the years to become who we are today.

We are HARVEST — From its beginning, our church family has recognized that God called us to be laborers in the Harvest. We have always been about raising up worshipers who would go out into the Harvest to raise up more worshipers (John 4:23-24). We also recognize the natural connection to the name that exists because of the property we occupy. Every time we walk out the doors of our church, we see a silo that reminds us that our providential God is the One who brings the Harvest. He is the one who causes growth, but that we are called to sow the seeds of the Gospel. He has given us the privilege of being a part of bringing in the Harvest. In addition, the Scriptures continually remind us that God wants there to be a “harvest of righteousness” (James 3:18) in our own lives as we take up the mission to be laborers in the Harvest for His glory (Luke 10:2).

We are Harvest CHURCH — We are a local expression of Christ-followers that find our identity as ones who have been called out by God, changed by His Gospel and gathered for the sake of exalting and following Jesus. Like the local churches in the New Testament, and all those through history, we function with the biblical goal, leadership and mission provided by God’s Word, the Bible.

The Pathway

In keeping with our Mission to glorify God by making disciples of all nations, the people of Harvest grow as disciples of Christ along The Pathway. The Pathway consists of four biblical mandates: Follow Christ, Grow Together, Disciple Others, and Reach the World. Each mandate within the Pathway includes mile-markers to help direct and equip people toward spiritual maturity and multiplication.
