Church planting is in our DNA. Our church launched in 2007 as a church plant of 82 people with a heart to reach the north suburbs of Indianapolis. As God has written our story, He has continually called us to step out in faith, prepare planters and church plant teams and send them to various places to start new works. We believe that God calls us to engage cities, make disciples and plant churches and we want to help you be involved in this Kingdom work.
Plants:
2014 – Harvest Bible Chapel, Tampa Bay (now called The Grove Bible Chapel, Tampa FL)
2019 – Hope Church, Anderson Indiana
2019 – Salt and Light Church, Los Angeles CA*
2023 – Mercy Hill Chapel, Indianapolis IN
2023 – Reliant Church, Indianapolis IN
*Salt and Light Church closed in 2021
Process:
The Harvest Church Planting Residency prepares church planters for the task and privilege of church planting in cities around the globe. Started in 2022, the Residency helps future church planters strengthen the core skills needed to plant a church while walking them purposefully through the plant process in a chosen location. The Residency is housed at the Harvest Church Ministry Center in Noblesville, IN with housing provided for each resident. To find out more about the Harvest Church Planting Residency, email us at churchplanting@harvestindy.org.
Partnership:
Harvest Church partners with Send Network of the North American Mission Board to plant churches in central Indiana and across North America. We also partner with the International Mission Board and other agencies to plant churches internationally.
